Hi! On this page I will keep you updated on the Will-o’-Wisp comic I’m working on!

In Will-o´-Wisp Part 1, we follow Winnie, a gnome girl with the ambition to become a great witch. When a magic exam goes horribly wrong she wants to find a way to make up for her mistake. She sets out on a journey to find the magical items she destroyed. Along the way she runs into all sorts of creatures that want nothing more than to help her with her quest! At least, that´s what they are doing, right? And who is that mysterious elf girl?

Will-o´-Wisp #1 is the start of is an epic magical journey full of gnomes, elves, animals, mushroom people and lots of fancy beards!

My name is Nikki Smits and I amm the author/illustrator of Will-o´-Wisp! I have been drawing the characters from this comic for years and the story has slowly been growing in my mind until I got to a point where I realy needed to write it down. This is my first comic project and it has been a lot of fun creating it! So far I have sketched about 245 pages, which was initially going to be volume 1 (yes, the story is 3 times this long). But I love to paint digitally and take a lot of time with each page, so volume 1 will be split up in 4 parts of around 60 pages each.
